Why can’t I create an automation until I verify my email?

Why Replavia asks

Your automations send messages from your Instagram account. A confirmed email proves the account belongs to a real person who owns that inbox. It also means we can reach you if something needs your attention.

Until your email is confirmed, you can look around the dashboard. But automations cannot be created or switched on. A yellow banner says Verify your account to start automating, with a Verify now button.

Confirm your email

1. Click Verify now on the banner, or open Verify your account from the button above.
2. Under Email, click Send verification email.
3. Open the email from Replavia and click the link inside.
4. Make sure you open the link in a browser where you are signed in to Replavia.
5. You will see Email verified — thank you! Click Continue to Automations to start building. See How to create an automation.

The Email row then shows Verified.

If the link does not work

• You were asked to sign in. The link only completes when you are signed in to the same account. Sign in, then open the link from your email again.
• "That verification link belongs to a different account". You are signed in to another Replavia account. Sign out, sign in to the right one, then open the link again.
• "That verification link was invalid or expired". Each link works once and lasts 24 hours. Send a new one from the same page.

Limits on resending

To protect inboxes from floods of mail, resending is limited:

• A few emails within 15 minutes. After that, the page says Please wait a few minutes before asking for another email.
• Up to 5 verification emails per address in 24 hours.

If nothing arrives, check your spam or promotions folder before asking again.

Other things that need a verified email

A verified email is also needed before you can send your leads out of Replavia. That covers:

• connecting Google Sheets or HubSpot,
• adding a webhook for Zapier, Make or your own server,
• creating an API key.

This check protects your future leads from being sent somewhere a stranger chose. Connections you already made keep working.

Good to know

• Signing in with Continue with Google confirms your email at the same time, because Google has already checked it.
• Resetting your password through the emailed link also confirms your email.
• Only your email is checked here. Adding a phone number is optional and blocks nothing. See Your account settings.
• Verifying is free and the same on every plan.
