# What happens to my data if I cancel or delete my account?

> Cancelling your plan deletes nothing: your automations, leads and settings stay. Deleting your account erases your data after a 7-day recovery window, except billing and audit records the law requires.

## The short answer

Cancelling and deleting are different. Cancelling stops billing and keeps your data. Deleting removes your data, after 7 days in which you can change your mind.

## If you cancel your subscription

You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Your automations, leads, connected accounts and settings stay.

When that period ends, your automations stop and the dashboard shows **Subscription canceled**. Click **Reactivate** to carry on with the free plan. It costs nothing. See [How to cancel your subscription](https://stage.mydmflow.com/help/cancel-your-subscription).

If you have more accounts or automations than the free plan allows, some pause after a notice. They are paused, not deleted. See [What happens when you downgrade](https://stage.mydmflow.com/help/what-happens-when-you-downgrade).

## If you delete your account

Right away:

- your automations stop,
- your Instagram accounts are disconnected,
- connections to HubSpot and Google Sheets are switched off,
- a paid plan is set to end when your paid period ends.

For 7 days you can sign in and click **Cancel deletion**. After that, your data is erased. Our [Privacy Policy](https://stage.mydmflow.com/privacy) commits to erasing it within 90 days. See [How to cancel or delete your account](https://stage.mydmflow.com/help/delete-your-account).

At erasure, your webhook addresses and API keys are deleted too. They stop working.

## What stays after deletion

- **Billing records**, because the law requires them.
- **An audit record** that the deletion happened.
- **Copies in your own tools.** Leads already sent to your Google Sheet, HubSpot, Zapier, Make or server stay there. Account deletion does not send a delete request for each lead. Delete them there yourself.
- **Files you downloaded**, such as a CSV export.
- **Agency enquiries.** Your name, email, handle, phone and message are removed from the agency’s Replavia inbox. The notification email the agency already received cannot be recalled.

The policy puts it plainly: we have “no ability to erase data inside a system you control”.

## Good to know

- After the 7 days, deletion cannot be undone.
- Removing Replavia in Instagram’s settings ends our access, but does not delete your Replavia account. Delete the account too if you want your data gone.
