# A brand offered free products instead of money. How do I reply?

> Whether you accept free products is your call. Reply with your media kit link so the brand sees your prices first; on Pro and Scale it can then offer money, a barter, or both.

- Topic: Media kit and brand deals
- Plans: Free: limited · Pro: included · Scale: included. Every plan shows your prices. Brands can send an offer on Pro and Scale.

## It is your decision

A brand offering product instead of money is common. Some creators say yes when they want the product or the brand. Others only work for money.

There is no right answer. What helps is replying with your prices, so the brand knows them before the talk goes further.

## Reply with your media kit link

Your media kit is a public page with your prices, at **app.replavia.com/c/** followed by your name. See [How to make a media kit](https://stage.mydmflow.com/help/media-kit).

1. Open **Media kit** in the menu and check your prices under **Your rates**.
2. Make sure **Publish my media kit** is ticked, then click **Save media kit**.
3. Copy your media kit address.
4. Reply to the brand with a short, polite message and the link.

For example: "Thanks for thinking of me. My rates are here, and you can send an order from the page."

## What the brand can do on Pro and Scale

On Pro and Scale, your kit has an order form. Under **How do you want to work together?**, the brand chooses one:

| Choice | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Paid** | The brand pays money for the work. |
| **Barter** | The brand sends its product instead of money. |
| **Barter + money** | The brand sends its product and pays something as well. |

For **Barter**, the brand must say what it is sending. For **Barter + money**, it also says what it can pay. Then it clicks **Send message**.

## Where you see it

Open **Media kit**, then **Messages**. Each message shows the brand's choice, what it wants and what it offers. For a barter, it shows **Sending:** and the product the brand described.

To answer, click **Reply to** and the brand's email address. Your own email app opens. More detail is in [How brands order from your media kit](https://stage.mydmflow.com/help/brand-orders).

## On the Free plan

A Free kit still shows the prices you set to anyone with the link. It has no order form, so the brand replies to you directly, for example by email or DM.

## What Replavia does not do

- It does not decide whether an offer is fair, and it does not negotiate for you.
- It does not value the product a brand sends. A barter has no money figure, so there is no rate comparison.
- No payment passes through Replavia, and it takes no commission.

## Good to know

- The editor reminds you that Instagram requires the paid partnership label on branded content. That includes deals paid in product.
